Linings

Premium Lining

Still an opaque lining and in ivory as standard this lining is thicker and has more weight giving the curtains a better dress. It is also crease resistant.

Blackout Lining

Mainly for bedrooms blackout lining allows no light to bleed through the curtains. The lining has a coating on the fabric which makes it heavier and the dress is often better with blackout.

Thermal Lining

Thermal lining can come as either opaque or blackout but offers significant help to keep your home warm in winter. We would recommend this lining for single gazed windows and some north facing rooms.s

Bonded Lining

Bonded lining is a sometimes referred to as ‘bump’ lining and is like a fleece material but thicker. This lining has thermal properties but also gives a plusher and slightly padded effect to the curtain.

Interlining

Interlining is for those who like a full padded effect to their curtains giving an opulent feel and look. This works in conjunction with another lining as interlining is essentially an insert between the curtain fabric and a regular lining.
